Swift Action, Lasting Triumph

Six months prior to program operations, Verde Events sited and planned an evening gala at a historic castle, nestled amidst Lake Geneva, Switzerland. The evening was poised to be an unforgettable setting for the event. Six days before the group’s anticipated arrival, the castle required unforeseen structural repairs due to erosion mitigation. These repairs included unsightly scaffolding that significantly altered the planned ambiance of the gala.

Verde Events had the foresight to include a construction clause during venue negotiation that protected the client against unforeseen circumstances, allowing the relocation of the event without any financial penalties.

Verde Events swiftly initiated a blanket search for an alternative historic venue within a 15-mile radius of the hotel and found an equally charming historic building available that fit the group parameters. Verde quickly worked with catering, transportation, entertainment, and décor vendors to re-align plans to suit the new location while maintaining the original vision and objective.

To ensure transparency and alignment with the client’s expectations, the program manager traveled several days ahead of schedule to personally inspect the new venue to ensure it successfully met all criteria for the event. Videos and detailed visuals were shared with the client for the final approval.

Agendas and printed materials were promptly updated to reflect the change in venue, ensuring transparency for all participants.

Despite the last-minute curve ball, the evening gala exceeded the client’s expectations and was a resounding success delivering an exceptional experience for the client and their attendees.
