Mobile Car. Care Clinic

Cross Country Mobilizing Solutions

In response to increasing and persistent thefts targeting certain OEM vehicles without push-button ignitions and anti-theft devices, OEM introduced a free anti-theft software upgrade for affected customers in targeted markets across the United States.

Specific OEM auto thefts spiked in response to videos posted by car thieves on TikTok and other social media channels. In these videos, thieves documented and promoted a specific method by which to bypass the vehicles’ security features, dismantled their steering columns and created direct access to their ignitions and challenged others to copycat their crimes. Verde Events worked with OEM to devise a mobile car care clinic to bring to the hardest hit communities offering complimentary software upgrades to affected vehicles. Once locations were identified, Verde worked with OEM and local law enforcement, government officials and media in the coordination of the press release to communicate the details of the clinic per location. Verde Events worked with each city to satisfy all proper permitting requirements and outfitted each clinic with weather-grade tenting with doors, lighting, power, flooring, HVAC, restrooms and a comfortable customer lounge to mimic the guest lounge experience at a dealership. Verde Events seamlessly worked under a compressed timeline of complex pre-planning requirements and local policies and environmental weather conditions that changed from location to location. Safety was paramount in the build and operations of each clinic followed by a premium guest experience.
